Visit to Birkwood
Thank you to all who came to our dance exhibition at Birkwood Village Assisted Living in Fort Madison, Monday, August 17th, 2026. We had 14 dancers. Thank you Tom for calling! It was a little challenging to dance as the air-conditioning was not working in the room we danced in. Fortunately, with so many club members in attendance everyone got to take breaks. The residents and staff enjoyed it, and several of the residents watching were former squaredancers.
Honoring our Veterans
Several of our dancers are veterans. They received a hand-made crocheted afghan made my fellow dancer, Marilyn Rose.
